This All-Inclusive resort is part of the Playacar resorts complex and is located within 3 km (2 mi) of the Playacar Golf Course and downtown Playa del Carmen. Guests have exchange privileges at Riu Playacar, Riu Tequila, and Riu Lupita, including complimentary entrance to and drinks at La Piñata (a nightclub at Riu Tequila). The Riu Yucatan has an outdoor pool, children’s pool, spa tub, fitness equipment, and several dining options on site. Babysitting services are available on request for a surcharge.

Just outside the entrance to the resort is Mexican Street, where guests will find a fitness center, a medical center, jewelry shops, a photo studio and lab, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).
