This boutique hotel on a nine-mile stretch of white-sand beach provides an intimate atmosphere with services that are common with larger resorts. The resort has four restaurants and three lounges. Culinary options include private picnics, a chef-prepared beach barbecue, and a fresh-fish market. Wedding packages are also available.

The beachfront resort, Azul Beach Hotel, on the Mexican Caribbean includes three outdoor pools, including one with a swim-up bar and a children's pool. A variety of water sports and other recreational amenities are available on site. Beachfront amenities include cabanas equipped with four-poster beds and drapes, and “beach butlers” offering mineral-water vaporizers, refreshments, tanning products, towel service, and reading material. Massage services are offered on the beach (surcharges).

This kid-friendly resort provides amenities for children such as use of a kids' club, strollers and cribs, changing tables, baby bath, baby bathrobes, monitors, bottle sterilizers, and bottle warmers (on request). Heaters and refrigerators for infant milk and medicine are available on request.
